The land, sea, and air customs ports have completed their efforts to receive and serve the pilgrims coming to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to perform Hajj, with integrated capabilities focused on managing the customs services system with high efficiency.
The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) explained that it seeks, through its operational plan for the Hajj season, to contribute to facilitating the entry procedures for the pilgrims of the Sanctified House of Allah upon their arrival in Saudi Arabia, achieving effective cooperation and continuous coordination with relevant entities associated with serving pilgrims, unifying efforts and achieving integrated work, which contributes to the quality of services provided to the pilgrims.
ZATCA added that it had prepared all capabilities early to receive pilgrims through its land, sea, and air ports, where the bus capacity through land customs ports exceeds 1,800 buses per day. ZATCA also provides its services through more than 230 dedicated lanes for buses and cars to complete customs procedures, and more than 10 halls that ZATCA has prepared with all services, providing means of comfort for the pilgrims, and where relevant entities also provide their services through more than 290 counters. ZATCA has also worked to harness all capabilities to ensure tight customs control by using the latest security technologies.
ZATCA affirmed that it is working to achieve the best customs services for the pilgrims of the Holy Mosque, in line with the aspirations of the wise leadership – may Allah support them – which are to facilitate the entry of the pilgrims and provide all services to them from their arrival in Saudi Arabia until their safe departure to their countries, and in accordance with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s global standing, which Allah Almighty has honored and blessed by embracing the purest and holiest sites on Earth.
